I think that the ministers that don't believe that mystical experiences are part of traditional Christianity, have perhaps not studied or emphasized, the parts of the Bible that are relevant to mystical experiences, and are probably not personally comfortable with the subject. The Christian experience is subjective, even in churches where usually, conformity is expected.
