Noticed this book in the grocery store yesterday and found this NYT book review. I'm glad people are finding their way back in whatever slip-shod manner to the spiritual path. Anyone read the book?

So it may be bad form to revive a post that is just slightly over 11 years old, but in all fairness, I have been perusing the forum and just came across it. :-)
I read this book in January of 2005 at a retreat to New Melleray Abby in Iowa. I don't remember the specifics, but remember being very touched by the author's life stories and Father Joe.
