Great cathedrals or Mount Athos monasteries and statuary from Rome. hhmmmm....

I think it would be cool. I especially intriqued by the prayer and thoughtfulness that goes into Eastern Orthodox icons and love Benedictine chant.

I remember when I learned about 9/11. I wanted to be there in New York where this was happening. I wondered if anything happened to the Metropolitan.
Spent hours looking at them, and that seemed to bring God's spirit into all of the confusion surrounding the tragedy.

Just spent some time today in a coffee house run by an Orthodox church. It was very peaceful and the walls were adorned with icons, which I'm told are the "gateway" to greater ecstacy in prayer.

The coffee wasn't bad, either. Smiler
