In the meantime...

The primary focus of this discussion will be on

1.) The intellectual, scientific, and logic arguments

2.) The Declaration of Independence

To begin, one must clearly understand the basic, logical rationale with which pro-life advocates argue against abortion, stem cell research, and cloning.

That rationale is the following:

1) Intentionally killing an innocent human being is morally wrong.

2) Elective abortion is the intentional killing of an innocent human being.

3) Hence, elective abortion is a serious moral wrong.

There are three essential elements that must be addressed in any debate on the rights of the unborn.

1) Definition of human being.

2) Definition of person.

3) The Declaration of Independence.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Ah, that's the pathway to where the file is stored on your Mac, not a public URL.

One easy way to share your file publicly would be to start an account with Google, then set up Google Drive, which will show up as a folder on your hard drive. Whatever you drop into Google Drive will be automatically backed up on the Google server, and you can share the file that way. You'll have to that part from your Google account online.

dropbox.com has a similar approach.

Or, have someone upload it to their web server for you.

Shasha, if those suggestions aren't helpful, then export the tiff (File menu) as a medium quality jpeg and email it to me as an attachment. I'll upload it and link to it in your opening post then erase those that don't provide content.

Here's a utube of the opening segment of the Young Adult Pro-life Conference I helped put on last month. My sons picked the music and helped me with some of the pictures.

The conference was titled: Using calm, cool logic to dismantle 'pro-choice' views.

Hence, I thought it was suitable for this thread.

Lia Mills was our key speaker. She is now 16, but in that video clip, she was just 12 years old. She shared with us that her gone-viral video was a class speech.

Lia shared with us that God told her to choose this topic.

Lia's 12-year old video "Speaking out Against Abortion" was not merely a one-time
thing. She has become even more clear and focussed in defense of the pre-born. She is an inspiration to young people, which is why I invited her to our conference. She and Lila Rose (who also began quite young) are two little, shiny gems in the pro-life movement.

Lia is a rather normal 16-year old high school student from Toronto but spends much of her time doing pro-life activism. Her parents drive her here and there, mostly to Catholic churches/organizations, (they are Protestant) to share her story. She does her homework in the car.

After her video went viral, the family received so much hate mail and even death threats that she had to change her real name. This was a huge wake-up call for a 12-year-old who was innocently following God's guidance. After the threats, her family had a meeting to decide if they were willing to keep going with her outspoken, but unpopular, message. She said her siblings and parents agreed to accept whatever ensued, and she said God told her to keep going.

On this thread, I share two of Lia's later videos which present cogent, philosophical arguments against abortion in a way any reasonable person can understand:

One is called "Are the Unborn Humans?" and the other, "Are the Unborn Persons?"

I find these to be great teaching tools and will equip old and young alike with clear thinking and articulation of a smoking hot, irrationally soaked topic.
