Really enjoying this book. Findhorn is one of the more successful new age communities from the hippie era and is flourishing still. They are devoted to positivity and possibility. Makes Dale Carnegie look like a pessimist! They recieve "guidance" on all things large and small, and work in great harmony with nature and each other. Fascinating stuff if we could get the whole planet to this level.

A REAL heavyweight in the New Age movement who was associated with the Findhorn:

He's along the lines of Wilber, Aurobindo and A.H. Almaas. Blessed by The Mother herself. I know that we like to take down these gurus, but please pack a lunch. Wink

Yep, deep ecological green and holistic turquoise.

Apologies for the spelling error. Another Findhorn luminary:

Now that one I first read some 30 years ago. I still take it down off the shelf every now and again. Peter died in 1994 and Eileen died just a couple of years ago. I think none of them liked the book, as it presented a wild and overly dramatic version of their story. THE FINDHORN GARDEN, on the other hand, tells it in their own words, and they both eventually wrote full-length autobiographies.
