I have an itch to see this and bring my dad since he has an actual memory of the events. Last time I asked him, a lifelong Republican, he was not too crazy the man. Hoping to be old and wise someday...

Bill O'Reilly saw the movie and thought it was done very well, even though he and George Clooney don't have much love for each other. Time magazine, otoh, gave it a poor review, pointing out that the characterization of Murrow was quite shallow.

I intend to see it also, as the "Myth of Murrow" is often presented as an antidote to the demonic Joseph McCarthy, whom we discussed at length on this forum some time back.
