Sorry for another shameless piece of self promotion, but I thought shalomers might like this. It's a poem of mine published at an online journal called Unlikely Stories, and compares these "end times" to the fall of the Roman Empire, the desert fathers etc. Not an original comparison perhaps but never a subject for poetry until now. Worth it for the line: "Here comes the weather!" at least...Hope you enjoy it!
