These are very fine indeed, HP. A delayed thanks for posting these links.

I just love Allison Kraus. A true diva, and easy on the eyes! Wink Also, a superb group of musicians in Union Station.

My other current favorite is Diana Krall

great voice and a great piano player

This was from Letterman (with Tony Bennett - another favorite):

The video is grainy but the music is great -

Check out Radka Toneffs version of "The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress". You can hear the opening 30 sec on iTunes Music Store. Smiler

By the way, AMH v.2.0 -- trying to hide behind a new pseudonym? Wink

That's great....I know that this is digressing away from the "Exquisite" part of the thread, but how about another version:

Ha ha. Smiler Good one.

Yes, we digress. Now just so we remember what exquisite is about, it's good to be reminded of what it's not.

(Great Flash animation!)

It may not be exquisite, but that was great, Phil! The animation was really creative, especially the "I Love Lucy" cuts.

Check out Lakshmi Shankar, a master Indian singer, originally trained as a dancer.

This is all I could find on YouTube, but I dont feel it does her justice. Far better is her album "Songs of Devotion". Exquisite!

Thanks, Phil, for this...

I don't know which I enjoyed more, his voice or the incredibly beautiful look on his face when he received the applause--

so innocent,

humble.

That's part of the appeal, for sure, shasha. He is so unassuming in his giftedness. Nice to see such a man find the recognition he deserves.
