The movie Bruno is out this weekend and is already getting raving reviews -- just like Borat did a couple of years ago. Once again, Sacha Baron Cohen roams around the U.S., dishonestly interacting with real Americans, attempting to expose our prejudices and prudishness. Bruno even features a sex scene with himself and a male pygmy (yes, Bruno plays a gay man). I hear it's not for the faint of heart. What is it people like about these kinds of movies? Have any of you seen them? I don't get it.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Phil,

I guess stupidity and ignorance are often funny.

Well Barbara Walters didn't like it. Did you read her review? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...iews-b_n_231492.html

Right, Derek, and good for Barbara Walters, Katy! See this positive review from USA Today, however: - http://www.usatoday.com/life/m...09-07-09-bruno_N.htm Note that she says it's "thin-skinned" folk who don't much like it.
