This past weekend, I ran into the woman, Sharon, who had the Near Death Experience that I related in an earlier post, at a big Catholic charismatic renewal conference here in Southern Cal. She's so fascinating that I ended up hanging out and watching her ministering in action instead of going to some of the workshops. Since other participants on this board indicated interest in her story when I first told it, I thought I'd give an update, so I interviewed her and took notes.
She told me some interesting stories, including one about when she was being treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. As I initially wrote, she had a brain tumor burst in her head in 1998, died, crossed over, met with Jesus and Father God, was asked if she wanted to stay in heaven or come back, and she said come back. (One reason, her daughter then was only 8, and she told Jesus she wanted to see her wedding!) She was given insights re our purposes in life, spirituality, the future, etc., and did indeed come back, though she'd been given a 1% chance of living, and even then without a severe handicap. Today, I'm happy to report she is completely healed and frankly had 10 times the energy I did at the conference, though she's in her late 40's, only a few years older than I am. (if anything, I got sleepy, sort of resting the spirit by even hanging out with her huge body energy.)
Anyway, in the midst of her recovery at the clinic, Sharon not only received divine guidance about a healing hall to be built at the Mayo clinic (it wasn't, yet), but how it should be constructed, including an atrium with two intersecting triangles, kind of like the star of David. She was told that the geometry placed in the ceiling would enhance the healing energy. She ended up meeting with the #3 in guy who runs the clinic to relay her message, and to her amazement was told there were plans to build a new building, and some form of prayer room was being considered. "I've never met anyone like you, lady," she said he told her.
But he really accepted her guidance and even ended up consulting with her again several times over the past three years. The architect eventually added a healing hall, with the geometric formation that she was guided to tell them about, and she said there are plans for other healing type halls at other medical facilities around the country based on this same plan. "I knew nothing about architecture, sacred geometry, healing, nothing," she told me, but all of the information she received turned out not only to be right, but was taken into account in the final construction. I told her that a lot of ancient healing methods, such as Reiki, include sacred geometric symbols to either visualize or place around rooms. She said it made sense. That it wasn't only a cross, to symbolic Christ, that was needed, but that these formations really enhanced the healing energy.
Moreover, as I wrote before, she has the auric field of a saint, gold/white, radiates peace, compassion, and I watched her fruits of the spirit in action during the conference. This was the first time she'd attended, only personally knew a few people, and she was very ongoing and friendly, praying with anyone who came along her path. She told me people are always put in front of her for a purpose (Myself included, since she's working on a manuscript, as Jesus told her she would, re her NDE). And it was amazing watching the process. She'd either strike up a conversation with someone, or a stranger would come up to her and just start chatting, which is unusual even at a religious conference here in Southern Cal. This is not a friendly place. Sharon was guided to move here from South Dakota, following her recovery, and seems by nature to be a friendly Middle Western type.
It was interesting see how people responded to her ongoing, yet sincere approaches, asking them if they had any needs to be prayed for. (It was especially heartening to watch her ministering to clerics, particularly the nuns who were there, who really seemed grateful for both an ear and prayer support.) Sharon says one of the messages she was given is that we're supposed to pray on the spot, its not about seeking some holy place and turning to a page in silence in one's prayer book, for someone.
And that's what I watched her do for hours. She'd told me the day before, the first day of the conference, that she hadn't returned to her hotel room until after midnight, because she'd ended ministering to a troubled couple and someone else, also conference attendees, at the nearby Denny's, into the wee hours. "There I was walking on Anaheim Blvd, after midnight," she laughed. She said her husband, who is also devout, said to her the next morning "Am I going to see you before midnight?" And they both said they doubted it, but have learned to go with the flow. "T his is bigger than anything my husband and I anticipated ever happening to me or our lives," she told me. "But when God wants me somewhere, I find I'm just there." And she related a bunch of funny stories about how she'd resisted guidance about being somewhere, like even a local store, and ended up there all the same through a series of circumstances, and would find someone troubled who needed her on the spot. And believe me, the stories of the troubled people are not overtly dramatic, just very true and she has an impact every time. I saw this time after time yesterday. She'd ask someone if they had a prayer need, and sometimes the person would pause and say no, and within a few minutes of conversing, would reveal the need for prayer over physical pain, other incidents, a family member who was in deep trouble, etc.
What I really felt I watched was grace in action. Her motto, based on biblical passages is, "availathe." She was open, available and loving, and so unaffected that people naturally respond to her, even, in one particular, one regally dressed woman (pearls, diamonds, the whole bit) who looked at her like she was a crazy when she asked her if she had any prayer needs, and then, as Sharon casually continued the conversation, let her guard down and did indeed open up.)
Jesus is calling us one-by-one, she said. It has nothing to do with religion and she's actively ministering in various churches in her community, from Baptist to Assembly of God, though she is Catholic. "To the Catholics, I hand out bible references and I encourage the Baptists to learn more about Mary and say the rosary," she says. "I couldn't believe it was I was told to go talk to the local Baptist church here, but God wanted me to do it and I really love praying with them. And the Pentacostalists. They're really active in their prayer and worship, and I found I love the clapping and stomping. " She considers the segregated and competitive attitude between religious sects stupid. "Christ is all about unity. We're supposed to accept other denominations and their faith walk." But she's warns of other walks not devoted to Christ and told me of guidance she'd relayed about the dangers of the occult, paganism, psychics, "energy healing" that isn't Christian, etc.
Which led to another interesting insight. She was told in her NDE that we're definitely in end times, in the sense that the first time the earth was purified by water, and this time by fire. In her NDE, she said she met a loving God who isn't going to let the world be completely destroyed, in fact, that that isn't the agenda at all and she's really sick of hearing about end time prophesies, the Rapture and all the negativity and judgment that's out there about the world ending.
She says there will a purification and the biggest part of it will be through the fire of the Holy Spirit. That God will never let us down. The danger is that the "fire" can also take more perverted forms based on those not aligned with the Holy Spirit. She said she had swept through the bible looking for every reference about fire, etc., which I told her I had also done at a spiritual retreat earlier this year re trying to figure out kundalini and the fire. She drew the same conclusion I did based on biblical references, the holy spirit is the fire that consumes but doesn't destroy. Other forms of fire, i.e. kundalini not led by the holy spirit, which is what I definitely have experience, and Phil has alluded to in past posts regarding kundalini energy that can be divorced from the holy spirit, all the way to nuclear energy, the fire of creation that is perverted to destroy. She says all these scenarios are likely to take place at once, though the Holy Spirit will win out. "We're going to be barbecued, literally and figuratively," she said Jesus told her. "It's all about purification."
Anyway, to put is succinctly, it was a real trip hanging out with her. I hope she gets her manuscript together because she has a real story to tell. Blessings to all, Linda
Brilliant, brilliant story , Linda. Hearing about Sharon is really helping me through rough seas. Great blessings can come at you from 1000 miles away! Also wonderful end time and unity messages,

I totally concur with Stephen. Thanks for sharing the story with us. Very inspiring!
A thought I've had at times is that through some kind of change in the energies of the earth, and/or our journey through the galaxy, we might come upon a time when kundalini-like phenomena might be more widespread. Maybe those of us who are going through this are "pioneers," of sorts, who will be needed to help others when the time comes. Maybe there will be a judgment akin to the seraph serpents the Hebrews encountered during their journey through the desert, and perhaps this is the "salting by fire" that Jesus referred to in Mark's Gospel. I've had intuitions of this, at times, and can only say that those who haven't developed somewhat centered lives with "pliable wineskins" will have it very rough.
OTOH, maybe all of the above was given to me for my own edification only, and has no relevance to anyone else.
