Cataract surgery, and "seeing" Login/Join

I had cataract surgery for my left eye a week ago and so far all is well. No more blurriness, only slight double-vision, and that's supposed to improve in time.

It was a relatively easy and painless process:
- eyedrops three days before surgery
- outpatient surgery, with a mild sedative and local anesthetic
- eyedrops for a week after surger
- taking it easy, physically
- wear an eye patch at night

Going from blurriness to clarity is kind of like what happens with spiritual awakening. "Twas blind, but now I see" is the way it goes in "Amazing Grace." A different kind of seeing, to be sure, but a similar contrast.

Anyone reading this have cataract surgery? What was your experience?

Phil

2nd surgery, for my right eye was done this past July.

Now I can really see -- physically, that is. Wink
