Thanks,w.c. for bringing that particular treasure out of the storehouse. Josephus is an important reference. There is real scarcity of references outside of scripture, and liberal theologians and The Quest for the Historical Jesus (What are we on now, the fourth quest? ) have made the most this
lack of certainty. Still, I consider the bible accounts as history and 20,000 biblically related archeological sites have never contradicted anything in the gospel accounts
to the best of my knowledge.
