Failing our caretaker role...
This is a question of Christian morality -- as well as morality measured in the codex of the worlds other great religions:

Despite efforts of the last 35 years (or rather because of the dismal inadequacy of them), Wildlife Populations Are Plummeting.

Populations of land-based species have fallen by 25%, marine species by 28% and freshwater species by 29% since 1970.

Populations of ocean birds have fallen by 30% just since the mid 1990s, while land-based populations have dropped by 25%.

So, what is the source of these alarming figures? Well, it isnt Greenpeace or Save the Earth or any other alarmist environmental organisztion.
No -- the report comes from the Zoological Society of London. In other words, an organization hardly given to exaggeration.

And still we have yet to see the impact of ongoing climate change!

What the world should see, in my opinion, is an uprising of moral indignation amongst the worlds religious leaders and their congregations.
For how can anyone avoid the conclusion that mankind is failing dismally in his caretaker role?

WIth best regards,
HeartPrayer
