Blessed Are The Peacemakers
Seven suggestions for Living Peace in the Midst of War...

How can I take these gifts and use them everyday?

I was near a junkyard and a big dog came running and barking angrily. I had a book in my hand and someone had
told me that the best thing to do was whack him on the nose. I was afraid and thinking of doing just that.

The owner of the junkyard called to the dog, "Cujo!" and shined a flashlight at me across the darkness. I was a little embarrassed (em-bare-assed) by this dog who was about to tear me a new em-bare-ass and the owner who by now could hear me singing "Jesus Love Me" rather nervously
to this pit-bull.

I switched into chanting "ohm, mani, padme hum" for about five more minutes, and gradually made freinds with this big scary carnivorous canine, taking a step or two away every chance I could get. Eventually he came up and sniffed my hand.
Then, like a little hundred pound puppy dog, he followed me down the street.

A Tibetan chant made peace and I became the Pied Piper of Pit Bulls.
