FredKG von Dürckheim: integrating desert fathers, Zen, Eckhart, Jung, body consciousness
Dear friends,
I put this new thread since I think that this great man and spiritual pioneer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K..._Graf_D%C3%BCrckheim is still to little knwon in the US.
He was great in integrating the wisdom of the desert fathers, Orthodox tradition, Zen, Eckhart (apophatic tradition), Jung and body consciousness. He was a living master and many Western monks (some I know) went to him in Japan in the 70ths for spiritual direction.
Now I am working with a breath therapist in the Netherlands who is a student of a student of VD.
