Codependency is allowing other people and circumstances beyond your control to determine your happiness. We all do this, to some extent, but for many of us it has become habitual and life-limiting in many ways.

This series will help participants learn more about codependency, how it develops, and how to break free. Topics will include:

• What is codependency? (from co-alcoholism to a wider view)
• Developmental vulnerabilities
• Codependent attitudes and behaviors
• How to care without being codependent
• The Twelve Steps of recovery groups and codependency
• Christian teachings that are interpreted codependently
• How codependency comes into ministry
• Guidelines to healthy relationships

Other topics will be developed as well, and participants are free to ask questions about anything pertaining to life in the Spirit.

Learning Process
Participants will receive resource materials on codependency and Christianity, including the Freedom from Codependency eBook and the Codependency audio series. A premium discussion forum with email notification option has been set up to enable sharing and interaction between participants and Dr. St. Romain.

Presenter
Philip St. Romain, M.S., D.Min. worked for many years as a substance abuse counselor and prevention specialist in school systems and psychiatric hospitals. His work included family counseling, addiction therapy, and 5th Step ministry. He is the author of Freedom from Codependency: a Christian Response, and two books on using the Twelve Steps in Christian spirituality (click here to find out more about them).
