The discussion board once hosted at shalomplace.com was merged with this board April 6, 2009 (which is why views are way down on many topics). This will greatly expand the number of free, general discussion forums available. The premium groups will remain, as before, with the same fee schedule.
Users who have registered with shalomplace.com and/or both boards ought to check out the document attached, as it explains how to reconcile your shalomplace.com user account with one for this board. Please read the document and try its approach before contacting me for assistance (there's nothing I can do to help with this, really). If all else fails, just create a new user account for this new board and begin using it instead.

Hi Phil, I attempted to download the PDF file and it states it must have been corrupted and unable to open in Adobe 9 I did however just add my Shalom Place discussion groups to the Groupee acct. Cathy Dotterer

Hmm . . . I just opened the file with no problem. Obviously, you've successfully logged in, however, which is what that attachment was about. Glad you could do so.
Anyone new to this forum format can benefit from the Help file under the Tools tab atop each forum, topic and post.
Here are a few differences from the old forum software:
Private messaging: click the user link on a post, or you'll see an option if you search and find him/her.
Search: use the Find tab.
Summary: "New Since your Last Visit" under the Find tab.
Keeping in touch via email: use the Notify tab and you'll see various options. If you click the Notify tab for a forum, you can subscribe to all of its activities.
I tried to open the .pdf document and was told I didn't have the right permissions to do so. Could the information be made as just a regular web page, or could the permissions be changed or something?
