For example, what does "doing God's will" mean to you? How do you know when/if you are doing God's will? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Phil,

Whew! A couple more registrations today. I think things might be settling down on the admin front, although Infopop takes care of a lot of the grunt work if you pay through them.
Just a reminder that I will henceforth be sending out conferences on Wednesdays, so the next one will be on June 14. In the meantime, we can use the existing threads for introductions, discussion and sharing.
Another reminder: you can use the "Notify" tab at the top of a thread to receive email notifications of contributions to the discussions. The digests will actually send the full posts, but the immediate notification only the first few words.

I have a lot to learn about discernment; I am only beginning my instruction. I am someone who, to use Phil's description from the 12 Steps, in examining my life, I've discovered the immensity of my selfishness and that I need the help of the Spirit to overcome this.
So at this point in time, I would say that I feel I am doing God's will when everything inside me stops and I see the world and feel as if I am a part of it, that I really belong here.
Of course this feeling gets trumped by the next thing I am worrying about, but it sticks somewhere inside. And it becomes part of the fabric of my life.

Diana - I just offer a word of encouragement to continue to desire to know God's will for you. It is a never-ending journey...but a journey that can have so much life and promise for us if we but take the time to listen.
Blessings on your journey. Sister Janice

Doing God's will is loving Him and others in the unique circumstances in which you exist with all your heart, your soul and your strength. Defining it is probably the simplest part.
