Which Bible commentary?

Can someone please suggest a good catholic Bible commentary? One that gives enough detail... that gets into the "meat" of the word. I am thinking of the Jerome Biblical commentary.

Thanks,
Katy

The dead sea scrolls

The OLD testament

Try to avoid the new stuff

It's beyond a joke what they have done with it

all the best

Like what "new stuff" do you mean? The New Testament?

- Not impressed with your contributions thus far. We generally don't go in for flippant sound bytes.

Hi phil

i love you, but im not in this world to be popular

the old books say

' i will goto the father and he will send a friend, the spirit of truth who the world cannot receive'

no one can recieve me, thats ok, i tell it like it is

the new books say 'a bad man comes first, then the good guy'

so basically they have set it up to kill the saviour when he arrives because he tells the truth, and the truth hurts

Love hurts

Thats why people shoot messengers

Pardon me if im not overly impressed with millions of people thinking im the antichrist when im the only chance you've got at eternal life

Im not keen on those pushing the agenda either

i have a job to do, i made a prmise i have to keep

if only for my own sake

all the best

Daniel, this is a Christian forum. You can take your self-promotion act elsewhere.

Adios!
