I was at a revival conference a few weeks ago where one of the presenters, Craig Kinsley, talked about Akiane.

Craig was invited to visit with her in her home a few months earlier. Craig told the story that her parents relayed that at age 4, I think it was, Akiane disappeared, body and all. She was reportedly missing for 4 days. The police were called, etc. When she reappeared, she said she had been taken up into heaven where she was with Jesus, and that the Lord gives her visions and knowledge for her art work.

Under the "Her Life" tab, then Questions and Answers, she says some of her paintings sell for as much as a million dollars.
