Perhaps a foretaste of Phil's upcoming Dark Night of the Soul class:
http://members.shaw.ca/btillier/NixonThesis.htm (See Chapter V, Multilevel Disintegration in Mystical Lives) http://members.shaw.ca/btiller...n%20myst%20lives.htm Satomi Myodo, who was unknown to me on Wednesday, lost her marbles as a Zen student, and found herself a few fries short of a Happy Meal, which would be really funny if I had not traveled the border lands myself. I am not a psychologist, nor do I play one on TV, but I do plan to read Passionate Journey, an account of Myodo's experience. I have done alot of primal type screaming when I get to feeling this way, and so far no white coats called in by the neighbors. What's real fun is when someone catches you in a deep process out of doors, or screaming in the car. Breaking Up and/or Breaking Down is Hard to Do. I once listened to an interview with the President of AOL and he said that what he was up to was like tearing down a seven storey building while putting another in it's place. I'm not sure on how this is accomplished, but trust that God's ways are far above my own... Happy New Year |
